eSIM compatible phones in the UK

The full list of eSIM compatible phones sold in the UK: 253 devices across 12 brands, of which 211 support eSIM in their UK versions. Every verdict is verified against the manufacturer plus at least one UK carrier eSIM list, and regional traps (grey imports, FE models, India and China variants) are called out per model rather than glossed over.

Two different questions, answered separately on every model page: whether the phone supports eSIM at all, and whether it is supported on the ONSIM network (which is narrower: iPhone XR or later, Pixel 6 or later, listed Samsung models and recent Motorola devices, per the supported devices page). Apple

iPhone XS, XS Max, XR (2018) and every later iPhone supports eSIM in UK models. iPhone 13 and later (including SE 3rd gen) support two active eSIMs. UK models keep the physical SIM tray on everything except the iPhone Air, which is eSIM only worldwide. Mainland China models have no eSIM except iPhone Air and iPhone 17e.

Google

Every Pixel from the Pixel 3 (2018) onward sold in the UK supports eSIM. Pixel 3 has no dual SIM standby; Pixel 3a to 6a run one eSIM alongside the physical SIM; Pixel 7 and later support two active eSIMs. UK models from the Pixel 10 and Pixel 11 generations keep the nano-SIM tray, while the US versions of those phones are eSIM only. Pixel 2 eSIM only ever worked on Google Fi in the US.

Samsung

All UK S-series flagships from the S20 (2020) onward have eSIM, but the S20 FE and S21 FE do not (FE models only gained eSIM from the S23 FE). All UK foldables from the Z Flip and Z Fold2 onward have eSIM; the original 2019 Galaxy Fold is unreliable. A-series eSIM arrived with the A54 and became dependable from the A55, A35, A56, A36, A57 and A37; other UK A-series models have no eSIM. Two active eSIMs only on S25 and S26 generation flagships including the S26 FE, 2025 and 2026 foldables and the Snapdragon S24 Ultra.

Motorola

Every Razr flip phone from 2019 onward has eSIM in the UK (the 2019 Razr is eSIM only), and the 2026 Razr Fold book-style foldable does too. The Edge series has eSIM from the Edge 40 generation onward, including the whole Edge 70 family; the Edge 30 family does not. Most Moto G phones are physical SIM only; UK exceptions with eSIM are the G34, G35, G53, G54, G55 and G85. The UK/EU G84 has no eSIM even though some other regions' variant does.

Xiaomi

Xiaomi flagships have eSIM on global/UK ROMs from the 12T Pro (2022) onward, with the notable exception of the 14 Ultra, which has no eSIM anywhere. The 17T and 17T Pro add an eSIM plus eSIM option on the UK spec sheet. Devices on Chinese ROMs never support eSIM. Most Redmi and POCO phones have no eSIM; exceptions are the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G and Note 14 Pro / Pro+ 5G global models.

Sony

Every UK-market Xperia 1, 5 and 10 from the 2022 Mark IV generation onward supports eSIM, including the 2026 Xperia 1 VIII. The eSIM-capable versions are the European single SIM variants (model numbers ending -54); Asian dual nano-SIM variants (-62/-72/-74) do not have eSIM.

Nothing

The only Nothing phone with confirmed UK eSIM is the Nothing Phone (3) (2025). The 2026 Phone (4a) and Phone (4b) support eSIM only in Japan-market units; the Phone (4a) Pro is unconfirmed. Phone (1), (2), (2a), (2a) Plus, (3a), (3a) Pro and the CMF line are physical SIM only. Nothing is not releasing a flagship Phone (4) in 2026.

Fairphone

Every Fairphone from the Fairphone 4 (2021) onward has one nano-SIM slot plus one eSIM with dual SIM standby, including the Fairphone (Gen 6+) released in August 2026.

OnePlus

OnePlus phones had no eSIM until the OnePlus Open (2023) and OnePlus 13 (2025). The 11, 12R and Nord models are physical SIM only in the UK. The OnePlus 12 and 13R have conflicting spec information; verify each handset with *#06# (an EID shown means eSIM capable). OnePlus announced in July 2026 that it is winding down UK and European operations, so no further UK models are expected.

Oppo

Oppo eSIM support in the UK starts with the Find X5 Pro (2022) and Find N2 Flip (2023); the Find X8 Pro and the Reno 13 also have it. Earlier flagships like the Find X3 Pro, most older Reno models and the budget A series have no eSIM. Oppo's UK spec sheets list eSIM on the Reno16 series (UK launch July 2026) but hedge on carrier and region support, so treat those as unverified until UK carriers list them.

Honor

Almost all recent UK Honor models support eSIM: the Magic Pro flagships from Magic4 Pro (2022) onward, the Magic Lite models from Magic7 Lite, the Magic V foldables, and the 90, 200, 400 and 600 number series. Only the Magic V6 is confirmed for two active eSIMs; the rest run one eSIM alongside a physical SIM. China-origin units do not have eSIM.

Huawei

The P40, P40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro (2020) support eSIM in UK models but ship without Google Mobile Services. The P40 Pro+ has no eSIM, and later Huawei flagships were not sold in the UK.
