The customer
A large multinational bank with regulated staff working across multiple regions - the kind of organisation where mobile call recording is not a preference but a regulatory obligation, and where a coverage gap in any region is a compliance finding waiting to happen.
The problem
The bank’s existing mobile recording did not operate in enough of its regions, and where it did work it was expensive, cumbersome and clunky. That left standing compliance risk in the uncovered regions. They had already used another provider of native mobile recording, so they knew what the capability should look like - they needed it to work in more places, more reliably, for less.
What we deployed
ONSIM Landline SIMs with native, network-level mobile call recording, with service covering the bank’s regulated staff across the UK, France, Germany and Italy. Existing numbers were ported in and new numbers issued alongside - both went very well - and deployment from order to staff up and running took 48 hours.
The result
In the bank’s own assessment: no compliance risk, lower cost, and a more reliable service. Asked to pick the single change that mattered most, their answer was reliability - recording that simply works, everywhere it needs to, without being managed around.
