The link leads to a convincing copy of the Evri website that asks for your address "to redeliver", then a small card payment "to cover redelivery". Neither is real. The details feed card fraud and identity theft, and phone numbers harvested this way are recycled into follow-up scam calls.

  • ✗A domain that is not evri.com.
  • ✗A parcel you were not expecting, or no tracking number that matches one from a retailer.
  • ✗Pressure to act within hours.

What the real Evri does

Genuine Evri updates come with a tracking number you can check directly on evri.com or in the Evri app. If a delivery genuinely fails, rearranging it is free and happens on evri.com.

If you get one

Do not click, reply or call any number in the message. Forward it for free to 7726 so your mobile network can block the campaign, then delete it. If a call or text claims to be your bank, hang up and dial 159 - the UK anti-fraud line that connects you to your real bank. If you have already entered card details, tell your bank immediately; if you have lost money, report it to Action Fraud. How do I check if an Evri text is genuine?

Why do I get Evri scam texts when I have no parcel coming?

The texts are sent in bulk to millions of random UK numbers. The scammers do not know whether you have a parcel - they rely on the odds that many recipients do. Getting one does not mean Evri leaked your number.
